What to expect in our RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course?

The RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to handle a powerboat safely and confidently in a variety of situations. Here's what you can generally expect from the course:

Theory Instruction

You'll start with some classroom-based theory sessions covering topics such as safety equipment, boat handling techniques, navigation rules, weather considerations, and basic engine maintenance.

Practical Boat Handling
