Llanddwyn Explorer

Join us for an extended 2 hour 30 minute cruise onboard our brand new Explorer RIB. Take in the spectacular scenery as you travel along the Menai Strait out towards the magical Llanddwyn Island and beyond.

Along the way you will pass by Plas Newydd, the seat of the Marquis of Anglesey, the picturesque village of y Felinheli, the Welsh National Outdoor Centre, historic Caernarfon Castle and out towards Abermenai point and Fort Belan.

Conditions permitting you will head out the western entrance of the Menai Strait and around to the stunning Llanddwyn Island. The island, with it's golden sweep of Newborough beach, backed by the pine trees of Newborough warren is quite a view!

Time permitting you may well journey further along the western coastline of Anglesey before turning around and heading back.

Clothing

Our RIBs are open to the elements and we go out in most weathers including the rain, so please dress appropriately for the weather and season. It is always cooler on the water.

The aim is not to get you wet, however we cannot guarantee this, so please make sure you have a waterproof layer, as it can get a bit splashy in certain conditions. Sensible shoes, no heels! In the colder months, hats and gloves are essential. Sunglasses are also a good idea.

Life jackets are mandatory and are provided by RibRide.
