FIVE recommendations from Team RibRide after a day on the water…

Wed 5th July 2023

After a busy day in the boat yard we like nothing better than sitting in the sun with a drink.

If you are new to Menai Bridge | Porthaethwy then we have compiled a short and sweet guide to the best places to go…

Dylans, Menai Bridge.

Dylans not only backs onto our boat yard; but sits on the banks of the Menai Strait. It has a focus on serving local produce, seafood & pizzas, & a desire to welcome our guests with the very best North Wales that has to offer! The bar staff are friendly, the views are next to none and they let furry friends in too!

The Victoria, Menai Bridge

New to our doorstep and set above RibRide just a stone throw away.

This Chef & Brewer restaurant has quirky decor, a fantastic large menu with a terrace that boasts the best views over the Menai Strait. Be sure to grab a table at the front to see the RibRides coming in.

Anglesey Arms, Menai Bridge

A cheery and friendly pub with a fantastic menu. Serving drinks from its J W Lees local brewery; boasting great bedrooms upstairs too. A stone throw away from the Menai Bridge and from the town; making its location perfect for an evenings drink.

Libertine

Fancy something a little bit more cosmopolitan? A cocktail perhaps?

Pair it with some small plates and you're away! Trendy decor; and located in the centre of town. If you are looking for somewhere a little smarter to head out to then Libertine is the best option for you!

The Gazelle

Another firm favourite; about a 5 minute drive from Menai Bridge towards Beaumaris. A family friendly pub set on the water on a pebbly beach. Its coastal decor makes it a favourite throughout the year.
