Menai Voyager

Join us for a fantastic RibRide cruise onboard our Voyager RIB. This 2 hour 30 minute cruise will take you on a fascinating tour of the spectacular Anglesey coastline, with two possible route options. The route will be determined by the Skipper on the day, based on the prevailing conditions.

The cruise will depart from and return to St George's Pier, Menai Bridge.

Route 1 - Castles, Forts and Islands

This route departs from Menai Bridge and journeys south west along the Menai Strait towards Caernarfon Castle and beyond. Enjoy spectacular views, as you head under both Menai and Britannia Bridge, passed the vibrant village of Felinheli and onwards to Caernarfon Castle. With the majestic mountains of Snowdonia as a backdrop to your cruise, you will pass Fort Belan as you head out of the Menai Strait towards the stunning Llandwyn island and the golden expanse of Newborough beach.

Route 2 - Pier to Port

Departing from St George's Pier, this route turns left and heads along the Menai Strait, past Bangor Pier and the charming coastal town of Beaumaris, before heading to Puffin Island. The tour will then cruise along the lesser explored north eastern coastline of Anglesey to the historic Amlwch Port. Along the way you will pass the pretty village of Moelfre, Ynys Dulas and experience the tidal race off Point Lynas.

We aim to keep you dry but this is a boat trip and in some conditions you may get a bit wet so please wear appropriate clothing for both the RibRide and the weather!

It is always cooler on the water so we recommend lots of layers including a waterproof layer and sensible shoes. Sunglasses or other eye protection are also a good idea.

RibRide is happy to welcome customers of any ability, however RIB tours are a physical activity. If you have medical concerns, please contact our office for advice and guidance.

Life jackets are mandatory and provided by RibRide.

If you are pregnant, we generally advise against participating on a RibRide, as trips can be a bit bumpy in certain conditions. If you do want to go out, we would ask that you consult with your doctor or midwife beforehand and consider booking this trip as a private event so we can tailor the trip to better suit your situation and the weather conditions on the day.

Our Voyager RIB hold a maximum of 12 passengers.

This trip runs Tuesdays and Thursday throughout July and August

Minimum age 10yrs.

We love our furry friends but sadly no dogs are allowed on any of our tours..

You will be on the boat for the duration of this tour, so please make use of our facilities prior to boarding.
