A life beautifully travelled blog

Fri 15th April 2016

Recently we were very lucky to take British travel blogger, @beautifullytravelled, out on a RIB Ride and she wrote a fantastic review.

“We were greeted by our very friendly skipper [Charles] who ran us through the safety briefing. We were equipped with life vests and taught how to use the equipment on board the RIB. All safety measure taken, we made our way out onto the water of the Menai Straits.

The Britannia Bridge

The Bridges and Swellies RIB ride will take you past the Thomas Telford’s Menai Suspension Bridge and Britannia Bridge. Among many other sights, you will encounter Church Island with its fifteenth-century St Tysilio’s church and the stately homes of Millionaires Row.

You will cruise past the beaches, bays and coastline of the region and if you are lucky you might even spot some wildlife – including see-lions [spotted on the Britannia Bridge], little egrets, oystercatchers, curlews and redshanks. So make sure to take your camera!”
