Are you planning a summer boat trip?
What will you see and what should you expect?
Early summer is a very busy time as sea birds feed and grow their young.
Importantly to remember that Puffins arrive March and April, they leave early-August. Here are our favorite Puffin Facts at Puffins Skerries, Anglesey. There are a few well established pairs of Pufins at Puffin Island. There are many many more Puffins on the Skerries. Come on a Skerries trip before August, if you really want to see puffins.
On summer boat trips this year we have been lucky and spotted Dolphins. Perhaps they have been drawn here by a rise in food and shiny Mackerel are swimming in the Straits this summer? We have seen dolphins regularly from May to July. Near Puffin Island and Llanddwyn Island on our Castle and Islands trip.
Large colonies of sea birds live at Gogarth from May to early August. You might see Razorbills, Guillimots, Puffins, Arctic terns, Common terns and Choughs. What an adventure! More information about the sea birds on the RSPB website at South Stack Cliffs, star species.
If you want an amazing summer boat trip BOOK NOW. As the school holidays start we get very busy so book early to avoid disappointment.
Importantly, please wrap up warm with layers at it might be a little chilly in the wind. Check out our FAQ here frequently-asked-questions.
