At RibRide we have a thirst for adventure, on a RIB on the Strait, running at Newborough Forest to Llanddwyn Beach or kite surfing at Traeth Crigyll, Rhosneigr we love the thrill of the great outdoors.
It is vital to get enthused and excited about the outdoors at a young age. This year we are supporting the Dragon’s Dash, 9.20am Sunday 5th March 2017. This is the junior race of the Anglesey Half Marathon and a fantastic opportunity for 5 to 14 year-olds to get involved in outdoor activities.
The iconic Menai Suspension Bridge is a big part of our identity at RibRide. It is wonderful to support a race for young people dashing over the bridge as we RIB ride under the bridge. It is great to be partnering with Always Aim High Events to support a rising star in the UK’s best half marathons.
You can register your ‘young ones’ online on the Always Aim High Events Junior Race Information page. The Junior Dragon’s Dash entry closed at midnight on Wednesday 1 2017. No entries taken on the day!
Numbers for the race must be collected on Sunday morning only between 6.30 and 8am. The race starts at 9.20 and goes over and then under the bridge. The race finishes in Waun Car Park (near the Doctors Surgery and Rowlands Pharmacy).
Come and support the racers, Sunday 5th March 2017, enjoy the view.
Talk to us at RibRide about creating an adventure of your own, more information on Groups.RibRide. Or book a ticket on our ‘Bridges and Swellies’ this adventure goes under the bridge!
