Have a thrilling ride on St Dwynwens Day 25th January
Mon, 16 Jan 2012
Say “Dwi’n dy garu di” or “I love you” in style with a magical boat trip to Llanddwyn Island, home of Wales’ patron saint of love on St Dwynwen’s Day.
RibRide, the company that specialises in guided adventure boat rides along the Menai Strait, is running exclusive one hour trips from Caernarfon to the small and rocky yet magical island of Llanddwyn off the west coast of Anglesey. Llanddwyn was the home of Dwynwen, a saint of the Celtic church, who founded a church and convent on the Island as well as a well named after her which became a place of pilgrimage for lovers seeking assurances of their future lives together.
RibRides’ trips on Wednesday 25 January 2012 are only £20 for adults, £15 for children aged 16 and under and are available by reservation only. Private charters are also available which are ideal for those that want the whole experience to themselves.
Please note: RibRide’s Llanddwyn Island trips are weather permitting. In the event of cancellation, RibRide will credit the organiser’s account with a full refund.
